DOLORES project kick-off meeting at DTU | Highlights on Oct 10, 2024

We are thrilled to announce that the DOLORES project is practically launched, marked by a kick-off meeting held at DTU on Oct 10, 2024. Representatives from all partner organisations gathered in person and online to discuss the project’s vision, key objectives, and initial tasks for the first year.

The meeting opened with a presentation by project coordinator, Deming Kong, outlining the project’s goals and expected breakthroughs. Partners introduced their teams, expertise, and how their contributions will drive the project forward. The consortium also discussed project management, agreeing to proactive communication and regular updates on deliverables.

A steering committee was established to guide future decision-making. The consortium agreed to hold annual in-person meetings, with the next one set for September 2025 at Ghent University, Belgium. All participants agree on having monthly online meetings to maintain momentum.

Some specific technical challenges are addressed and briefly discussed during the technical presentations from partners. The strategy for dissemination, communication, and exploitation has been discussed together with the drafts of the Data Management Plan (DMP) and the Plan for Dissemination and Communication (PDCA).

The meeting concluded with a collaborative spirit and a clear roadmap for the year ahead. Stay tuned for updates!
